Agile Certification Overview

Agile methodologies are based on iterative and incremental development where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organising, cross-functional teams.

The methodologies promote adaptive planning, evolutionary development and incremental solution delivery. The methods features include time-boxed iterations for rapid and flexible response to change.

Some of the more prevalent methodologies include: Agile Project Management (AgilePM), Agile Unified Process (AUP), Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM), Extreme Programming (XP), Kanban and SCRUM.

Agile Project Management (AgilePM) incorporates a higher level approach increasing governance and reporting as appropriate whilst maintaing the benefits of Agile.


The audience for Agile is wide and those who will benefit include Project Managers, Product Owners, Software Developers and Business Analysts.
